Founded in 2008, NightSword quickly took on a life of its own from what started out as a few songs written by CL Sedore.

Initially, a three-guitar triple-thrash-threat whose songs incorporated crushing riffs, soaring harmonies and melodic overtones, NightSword evolved into its present form upon the release of The Black Horse Rides in January 2014, and rapidly established itself as one of LA's premier melodic metal bands. 

Ranging from hard-hitting beats to instrumental harmonies, NightSword appeals to hard-core and old school metalheads, as well as fans of lighter fare. Their legendary live performances consistently deliver the complete album experience with ferocity and a sharp progressive-metal edge. 

With the release of When Evil Rises, their second album in March 2018, NightSword again delivers the goods and promises as a band to watch for.
